Cruise Tips

Long are the days where cruises were the setting of the very rich. Cruise ships now come in various shapes and sizes and there’s certainly one for every purse. It’s still possible to take the long, expensive, all inclusive cruises that we see in movies or in reruns of The Love Boat, but it’s also increasingly common to find cruise deals that’ll leave your jaw hanging.
Forget the Carribean liners full of old people playing shuffleboard and ignore the trans-Atlantic and trans-Pacific cruises that’ll leave you out at sea for days on end with nothing to do than to stare at the ocean and hear the same Frank Sinatra cover band over and over. The new cruise user wants excitement, comfort and a different port every day. Coupling beautiful ocean or sea liners with historical or ludical tourism ashore is the trend of the future, and you’ll be hard pressed not to find one that suits your needs and expectations. I recently took a cruise around the Mediterranean that was Egyptian themed, and these theme cruises are often the most fun to take, because they’ll go all out to give you the experience you’ve paid for.
